AMARILLO ISD ADOPTED A TAX RATE THAT WILL RAISE MORE TAXES FOR MAINTENANCE AND OPERATIONS THAN LAST YEAR'S TAX RATE.

(The adopted tax rate is the same tax rate adopted since AISD voters approved the tax ratification election in 2008 and will generate about 1/10th of 1% in additional tax revenue for 2011. However, funding from the State will be reduced by $11,600,000 or 8.5% from last year.)
